Hello and welcome to my website!
I am Jeysen Santiago, a passionate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, and I am honored to share my experience with all of you. I am a 4th-degree black belt and currently proud to hold the No. 2 spot in the world BJJ ranking. Additionally, I am an official referee for the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF), which has allowed me to contribute to the growth and regulation of this sport at a competitive level.
At my dojo, I offer BJJ classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, for both children and adults. My goal is to help my students develop their skills, both in technique and competition, and to foster a positive and welcoming environment for everyone.

What is brazilian jiu jitsu?
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and self-defense system focused on close combat, particularly on the ground. It relies on the use of gripping, control, and submission techniques to overcome larger and stronger opponents, prioritizing technique over strength. In addition to being an effective self-defense tool, Jiu-Jitsu enhances physical fitness, confidence, and discipline, making it a comprehensive practice for both the body and mind.

No, prior experience is not required to join the classes.
